Hello all,
PRT is severely lagging for me (broker = IG). Stops that have already been moved by automated systems are not reflected correctly on PRT, orders show as not executed (only transmitted) but were opened with IG. ProOrder AutoTrading (where Live systems are shown) is not updating properly and ‘failed systems’ cannot be stopped/moved to the inactive systems part.
I have submitted a request via the platform but was wondering if there is anything else I can do? I saw that someone else also recently had issues.
Thanks!
01/22/2024 at 9:04 AM #226697Ah, so the message that I am out of funds could be right eh ? Well, nice then.
I suppose you are saying what I show below. But it’s slightly different because orders I could throw out previously are now supposedly under the command of AutoTrading (while they are not). This counts of all the greyed-out crosses you see in the down-left corner. But I also see the platform resetting now (or at least the connection with IG is lost), so someone is working on it. Curious what I will see when it comes up again …
01/22/2024 at 9:06 AM #226699For me it just said “order transmitted @” and kept moving around with every candle – in the meantime the order was already executed on IG and I closed it manually … The strat also failed and is in limbo under live systems with a tag ” stopping system”. fun! Hopefully it’ll be resolved soon
01/22/2024 at 9:24 AM #226700Hmm … Thank you, Raspberri, you are right. In the screen shot of my previous post I show 5 orphaned orders/positions (which I can’t close) while in reality there are 10 orders/positions, I see now. Thank you for this hint. This looks quite dangerous to me.
To me it looks like the same issue as last Friday afternoon.

We’ve had similar problems over the past week, both live and demo.3 users thanked author for this post.
01/22/2024 at 10:35 AM #226708I just updated my other thread that has the same root problem with the following info:
I’ve been in contact with IG markets Swedish customer support thursday, friday and just now, monday.
Thursday – They didn’t know what the problem was or when to expect a solution
Friday – The problem was solved but they where awaiting answers from “IT” about the cause of the problem
Monday – The old problems are back, new problems have emerged and they are still awaiting answers from IT. No ETA.
But I might add that having worked with integrated systems for many years I don’t rule out IG as the culprit.
A change on their part in for example hardware, software, certificates or api:s may cause interruptions to the integration solution.
– Of course, the same may be true for PRT as well 🙂
Since I’m a customer through IG, I have asked them for an explanation to exactly what is causing these problems and what action has been taken to avoid this situation in the future.
Unfortunately its not uncommon that you get a “bullshit” explanation or even none at all. I would probably be good if more customers tried to get to the bottom with this with their broker or PRT…

This is critical information. Where on in the forums (or in other information channels) where this is announced?
01/22/2024 at 11:59 AM #226714Legally speaking, who are responsible for any losses that may occur?
I haven’t heard as much as a quack from either IG or PRT on these issues. When you need to go to an online forum and rely on strangers for information on a critical matter, that is simply wildly unprofessional.
01/22/2024 at 11:59 AM #226715I can add this :
The orders which took positions last night (around 02:00 Amsterdam) are back visible in PRT. But the orders I never knew that they were running (with positions) were started on the 18th between 16:00 and 17:00 and they remain invisible.
I suppose it does not help if I say that I saw this happening on the 18th and that it happened in V12, which on some day earlier on also did not show the order. Back then I did not pay attention to it, but today I find an order/position from Dec. 28 (2023) of which I did not know it was there.
From what happened on the 18th in V12 I have screenshots and even a couple of videos. So what happened on Dec. 28 I can’t guarantee that it was V12, but the occasions on Jan. 18 sure were from V12.
But before we see ghosts, I would say that PRT’s Live servers are not dedicated to V12 vs V11.01/22/2024 at 12:22 PM #22671601/22/2024 at 12:37 PM #226718 -
