Everybody welcome to contribute their findings with v10.3 bugs, please let’s keep it to potential v10.3 bug descriptions we can share and show to PRT team, not to general “how do I…” questions on v10.3 which could be part of other topics, thank you.
Here’s a funny one to get started, sometimes I get all of the price window disappearing, not just the added drawn points or lines or arrows or candles, but also the price itself, except backgroundcolor and price value on the right.
This is with added indicators to the price using “backgroundcolor” “drawarrowup” “drawarrowdown” and “drawcandle” instructions. Maybe I’ll separate these 4 sets of instructions and watch 4 different graphs on the look out for the bug to happen again, to try and find out if just one of these instructions could be the source of the problem
Here’s another one, I was on a v10.3 x ticks graph with data loaded, then I chose a different ticks x number, saw the loading bar progressing, and ended up with a “no data loaded” message…
Luckily we’re not stuck, if I insist with again another x number, it ends up loading the data after all, but it should load it right the first time around…
Text or ASCII characters drawn by DRAWTEXT disappear sometimes, in very rare occasion.
Daily OHLC fire an error window sometimes in ProBuilder and indicator is removed from chart.
(These 2 problems have already been escalated to PRT, FYI).

While developing a strategy, you want everything to be intuitive, accessible, user friendly!
Now it is worst than what it was!
Also,
Make ‘Keep window open’ active by default.
When I want to change from a white theme to a black one (for example), I need to click 2 times on the new color theme to “force” the chart background to change correctly to the new color. Is it just me?
Also, when I load old (pre 10.3) white workspace theme, the ticker name is not displaying (or disapearing maybe?) : screenshot attached.
The search form of ProBacktest strategies is not auto searching/sorting anymore, is it just me?
The cross/cancel button stay greyed out, not possible to erase search text too.
Find/Replace (code programming window) is no longer case sensitive – Eg. -> Find: endif Replace with: ENDIF – will not replace any text
(@Nicolas – FYI I just tried the autosearching you posted about above and it does seem to be working ok for me UK version)
It is no longer possible to delete all ‘Not Running’ strategies that have yellow hazard/exclamation warning triangles – I understand this is probably by design to force the user to click on the error and read the message but is very laborious when testing multiple consecutive strategies that fail and the reason is already known/don’t care/would just like to delete them all in one go (was possible in 10.2)
@Nicolas The search form of ProBacktest strategies works good for me. By looking at your scroll bar I judge you have many many Strategies … maybe that is the reason?
@Max re delete all ‘Not Running’ strategies that have yellow hazard/exclamation warning triangles … I not think it was possible in 10.2 where hazard/exclamation warning triangles were still shown?
Delete all non-running strategies was available in 10.2 if no hazard flag showing … flags had to be accepted individually then all non-running could be deleted in 10.2?

Yes, there are a lot of strategies in the platform, but the lift should moved directly to found strategies. Is it not your case?

No I also encounter this frequently
Running Proorder does not display correct status of position in the marked.
Here it displays 1 position with running P/L however the trade was closed 3 hours ago. I also saw the opposite. live trades but no running P/L
@Nicolas I used to store loads of ATS in the ‘BT & Auto Trading Window’ (like you) but recently rationalised down to around 20. Also for ATS that are running … I NOW ONLY store the 1 copy in the ‘ProOrder Auto-Trading window’ and the remainder on my PC. It’s all time consuming I know, but I was getting all sorts of odd things not working as they were meant to.
My conclusions are not absolute / scientific, but thngs are running better since I rationalised. I even think the ATS View Performace/Overveiw/Drawdown box is being populated far more often … yes that is a definite! And I don’t get any problems re … ProBacktest strategies is not auto searching/sorting.
Don’t know if there is any logic behind this … but maybe we get allocated a certain ‘account size’ on the PRT servers and if we get near the limit then odd tiings happen??
