    Hallo Reiner

    Nochmals vielen Dank.

    MichiM

    Hello Reiner

Also from my side thanks a lot for your work.
A small concern if the problem is not fixed yet.
I traded the Pathfinder Oil. Buy, stop and TP agree with the back test. However, the pyramidsing did not work.

    Thanks again.

    Hi MichiM,

You are trading Pathfinder CL 4H V1. Pathfinder cumulate orders only for long trades. Prerequisite for pyramiding is that the variable maxPositionSizeLong and the ProOrder maximal number of contracts settings is high enough. Order cumulation should work if this is the case.

On 15.Nov 13 CET signalline crossed over daily high and Pathfinder bought a long position at 17 CET. On 16.Nov 13 CET signalline crossed very short over weekly high (signalline 46.38 > weeklyHigh 46.35) and Pathfinder bought a second position.  If your settings are OK maybe the reason is that in life trading this trade signal was missed due the very small price difference.

    best, Reiner

I have PRT Premium (IG server) but I didn’t find any crude oil instrument with a longer history then 2015.  Could some crude oil pros please advise me.

    Thanks in advance, Reiner

Hey Reiner, For LCO – Brent Crude I have only since 31st August 2015 but for CL – US Crude I have since 20th December 2007. I have no idea why there is a difference, only IG can tell us I guess. Happy to test anything you want on US Crude if it helps?

Thanks, Cosmic1 for your offer. I want adjust Pathfinder to some commodities. I need in average half a day to create and check everything for an instrument.

I checked it again and despite premium account no data for crude, brent, natural gas and many other commodities before August 2015 – very frustrating. Only gold and silver have a longer history.

I have asked PRT technical support for advise.

I’m trying to adjust pathfinder for CAC 40, but i also can’t get data before 2015. Someone already did the adjustment and can share it?

    Hi guys,

As you all know in this forum Pathfinder’s strengthen is the profitability on the long side. I’ve been thinking about how to boost this advantage. The idea is to make good things better and let the system run on different timeframes. I’ve been checking Pathfinder DAX with timeframe 1H only for long trades. The backtest looks very promising (+305% return, > 80% profitable trades, drawdown < 15%).

Here is a new member of Pathfinder trading system family – DAX 1H V1B1. It’s not so profitable like 4H but the idea is if we have verified that it really works we could combine both systems and “milk the cow even more”.

    best, Reiner

    Hi Reiner,

really thanks for your great work. I’ve just tried to activate Pathfinder DAX 1H, but i get this error report.

    Hi Reiner,

Thank you for the code for the one hour timeframe.

Indead when you try to activate the code for autotrading i also get a simular errormessage as MichaelE just described above.

    Best regards,

    Patrick

    @Arke,

If you take the 2EURO mini you can see that there is data starting from the end of March 2010.

CAC 1 EURO isn’t not as much data available. I guess they only started with the 1 euro cfd last year.

Reiner if you assume that the short signal can not use the speed of the long signal, perhaps adding another signal line with a different speed, you may get a better result.
    It’s only Idea..

    @reb
If you flatten seasonal variable you can work with a lower drawdown, the strategy is always excellent..

I checked this friday and as you say, it can be a good solution for these who have a smaller initial capital
