  Hi, as I write on title, how can I enable market profile on price charts in prorealtime supported by IG?

  If I can’t, why?

  Hi,

  (1) I assume you were not talking about my TPO profiles code, because on the contrary it was designed to make sure it works on IG too inside price chart and with customisable session times as subset of 24h-cfd dataflow. However, in case my assumption was wrong and you’re one of the new current free trial takers, then for forum housekeeping please use the “get support” messaging system or store email or dedicated store forum topic instead, thanks.

   

  (2) I also assume you were not just asking about the more general item “how to place an indicator on chart”, but in case I’m wrong again and you were asking about this:

  (3) So, last choice, I assume you were talking about this optional PRT module:

  then, it is a paid-for option at 33€/month before tax (around 40€ tax included) which to the best of my knowledge should include a recurring fee to the CBOT (Chicago Board of Trade), the R surrounded in above links next to “market profile” meaning it’s registered in the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

  It is available in “PRT software” offer, or PRT with some brokers only, but IG is not one of them unfortunately, which probably answers the main part of your question. I can only guess (and I insist this is just a guess, not a fact) they didn’t find commercially interesting to propose it if they couldn’t provide it for free. So, sorry, but unable to answer factually for them as to the “why” part of the question.

  Hi, first of all I’m sorry if I violated some community rules with me question.
  To be more specific, I followed the guide on PRT website to modify the price chart and add Market Profile on chart but, in my PRT version associated to IG Market, I don’t see the option that are showed on PRT website and I’m asking why and, therefore, if there are other way to add it.

  In the image I’ve attached, showing what I’d to see in the platform, there are some options on style menu. The “market profile option” are not showed on mine.

  Hi,

  I have edited my previous post with (1)(2)(3) references to separate in better fashion than I did earlier the 3 various ways I could understand your #206563 post question, and to refer to them. So, you are indeed in case ref (3)… and no worry no forum rule was not respected.

  To relate to your attached image, this « market profile » line in the drop-down price menu you show would appear only when subscribing to the optional paid-for module described in (3). So : option not available with PRT-IG, and « why » is not mentionned in manual.

  If you don’t also have a 2nd PRT access with another broker proposing this market profile paid-for optional module, or with PRT as software-only directly from PRT website (see market profile option price at bottom of page https://www.prorealtime.com/it/prezzi ), then you might be interested to have a look at this custom-coded alternative (by me, no secret about it) fully compatible with IG, currently on 2 weeks free trial, no strings attached:
