Well only the strategy stopped but the position remained open. If I prioritise, it is worse if I have an unmonitored position than a stopped strategy.
At the week-end I had four stopped strategies on demo and no email was received to notify me. I have phantom trades everywhere and no way to close them. The only difference is that I have mine set to not close positions if a strategy is stopped as I would expect to receive an email and then be able to monitor each trade manually.
It seems that there is the same issue on demo and live. Stopped strategies, orphaned trades (that cannot be closed on my side) and no email notifications.

I did receive notification that the strategy was stopped in demo.
It wasn’t properly stopped though, still making/losing money and wasn’t able to stop or restart for exactly? 30 minutes. Then it was released and I could manage the strategy.
copied the code to a blank strategy & adjusted the spread so the buy long price was the same in demo & backtest (price) (time was already the same bar),
The difference in result is an early exit on the demo account and the results are not a true reflection how good/bad a strategy is, especially because it happened a few times more.
