Large Errors in Gain Today

Hi I’ve used ProRealTime through a live IG account for many years and have come across this problem occasionally, and complained about it to IG, who have assured me they have passed the issue on to PRT. But it has still happening, and more frequently now. My Gain Today field (both in the Open Positions and Instrument Chart windows) shows that I have lost many thousands of pounds, often much more than the total value of my account. In reality, I have normally only gained or lost a few pounds. The Latent Gain field is usually correct. Right now, for example, Gain Today is showing that I have lost £3295, when in reality I have lost about £3 – as checked on my IG live account. Thanks Mark

Yes I have experienced the same recently on Auto-Systems on my Demo Account.
One example on 1 System:
- On the ‘running Systems window’ under Total Gain, I was showing -£53.437 Loss.
- The stats for closed trades showed +£378 Gain.
I’ve had similar ‘gain corruption’ in the past, although not for maybe 12 months or so. The bug seems to surface occasionally and wreak havoc with our historic performance / Stats.
We will be hopping mad if the same bug appears in v13!

I just found it surprising that PRT didn’t respond after I reported it – it’s quite a serious problem for manual trading.

But I guess if I’m the only one (in the world?) that is seeing this on a live (non-demo) account, it’s not worth their time to bother.

Latent Gain corruption Issue is not sorted for me.
Results below / attached are for the same System (hard to believe I know):

1st image shows Gain of +£53K.
2nd image shows Loss of -£788.
