Hi,
The data of last friday’s bar is not correct, when you compare this with other data of other brokers. Can you explain why this happens?
For example check the data of Unites States Steel (ticker: X) on PRT and tradingview (or other brokers).
If this happens a lot, I have to switch to another broker. But I rather won’t because I like PRT
Hope you can help.
Kind regards,
Pieter
If you compare different instrument, it is obviously normal to get different quotes.
When you say “PRT”, you don’t tell us which broker you are using, but the software..
Are you comparing the real share with a CFD? Are you comparing CFD created by brokers between them? Do you include sunday bar, custom trading hours, dividend included in both charts for comparison?
Hi,
How come the data of PRT is sometimes different then IG and Tradingview?
See example attached.

Thanks for helping me out. I thought I had deleted the first post, So I’m sorry for posting twice.
This are the answers to your questions:
- I use IG as the broker
- Yes, I have a CFD account
- Are you comparing CFD created by brokers between them? I do not understand what you mean by this question.
- No sunday bars
- Yes, custom trading hours
- dividend included in both charts for comparison? (I don;t know, how do I check this)
Hi,
I would suggest you send a report from your platform concerning a data issue.
To do so you may go in Help -> technical support -> Data.
This will enlighten the situation.
