IG Email alerts

    Do email alerts work with IG? I have tried with two different emails but I dont get the alerts. PRTV11 alerts with Davids voice but I get no email.

    Did you get any message on the screen when you set up the email alert?

    Yes. I checked the box to send the email. Then an alert message popped up. But no email was sent. Ive checked spam, junk, and custom rules so its not being filtered by my email.

    You need to post a screen shot of what are the conditions you select so that get an Alert?

    Are all PRT alerts triggered every time conditions occur? I set one on EURUSD and only triggered once. Sorry if I am missing something? Thanks

    They have worked for me, but I’ve not done an exhaustive test … as in, at times I think I didn’t get an email but I put it down to I forgot which email address I had used and then didnt check all my email addresses etc.

    I did a check for soembody on here a week or two back and I set it to send email when price > a value close to what it was when I set up the Alert. Sure enough I received the enail in that instance.

    Have you done above and also make sure you use the same email address that have logged with IG for the particular account that you are setting up the email Alert on!?

    Please report back to let us know … for the benefit of others reading that have the same Issue etc.

    I set one earlier today, IG PRT 11.1. Used the same email as registered with IG. Just did a “create alert” on price, used all default settings and……………

    Cool, thanks for letting me know. Must be something on my side …… but what???

    Windows firewall perhaps?

    Ive checked all the rules on my email and there are no filters.
