IG didnt fill me even tho price was above my target 2 times?!

  Twice i didnt get filled, but price went above my target?

  Can i complain to IG about this?

  Please see photos…

   

  In photo 2 my limit is clearly 24 714,9 and price traded above 715, 2 times!

   

  Trade closed out with 70€ profits lol, i should have had double that!

  i definitly would try it. but could there be a difference between a low risk account and a business account? i am using a low risk account and do live trading since some months now and never had this problem :/

  So first response back from IG: “Youre looking at the “mid price”, you need to look at the “buy price, right click in chart and choose “buy price” and u will see that it didnt reach ur target”

  But i switched to buy price in chart and it showed 716,2!! Meaning even higher then the 715,4 that im bitching about lol. I sent screenshot back now… lets see what they say…

  Ok so final answer from IG:

  “Sorry in norwegian u need to look at the “sell” not “buy” price.”

  And looking at “sell price” it hit only 714,2 so im “,7” away from getting filled…

  It can sometimes look like it but the reason is that PRT shows the midprice. So the price you would need at least for a fill is the shown midprice plus half the spread.

  Then PRT seems to have a hard time to calculate the midprice but this is another problem. 🙂

  u wanted to sell ur long position, so u will sell it for 715 if someone wants to buy for it, and i guess the buy offers were slightly under 715 (might be wrong), but gratz for the profitable trade anyway mate 🙂
