IG Account closed lack of activity

    Hi all

     

    I’m after some help, please. I logged into my IG account today, but it has been closed due to a lack of activity on the live account. I have only been using the demo to practice with and was going to fund the live account in about 6 months.

     

    I contacted IG help and they have said my only option is to open a new account. However, I had installed some paid for indicators from prorealmarketplace coming to about £400 in total. If I open a new account is there a way to transfer the products across? Has this happened to anyone else before? I do not mind opening a new account but I don’t want to lose £400 of paid for indicators!!

    Did you not get your Demo Account disabled every 2 months while you were inactive on Live?

    If you had put some money on your Live Account, even £100,  then above would have happened. Also you would have been charged £30 per month off your Live funds.

    The way forward would be to contact the vendor of the System you bought of MarketPlace, explain what happened and provide evidence (email from IG?). I feel sure the vendor will then provide you with a replacement License somehow or other?
