Hi all, first post for me, I’m curious if anybody can help me with a coding issue I’m having.

I’ve developed a scan code that I’m relatively happy with in terms of creating a decent shortlist for me to work through. The one thing I can’t workout is a condition (or series of conditions) that would exclude choppy charts with lots of massive wicks that just wouldn’t be worthy of consideration. I’ve attached a couple of pictures which should clearly show what I mean.

I’m not sure it’s possible (or I certainly can’t think of a way) but I thought I would ask. Bear in mind this is through a spread platform so volume is unreliable and therefore couldn’t be part of the conditions.

Do you still have this kind of chart after a restart of the platform? With the exact same instrument and timeframe, I don’t have at all these spikes on my chart.. that’s why I ask!
