Hey PRT, Just image if we could drop and drag stock screener lists from say Google and Yahoo finance stock screeners or other stock screeners directly onto PRT lists. Just tech box the stock tickers and drop onto PRT lists…It would be incredible…It would enable us to be able to do really involved stock screens which you cannot do on PRT and then instantly drop and scroll on PRT….

If you could paste the data you said, what format should Yahoo/Google use to be compatible with your broker’s? And What would happen if that instrument/stock is unknown to the broker because they don’t deal with it?
There should be a universal standard format to allow this! But the second point would still be unresolved.

Of course this would be possible. It is only that I don’t recognize that ideas like this are appreciated very much. Also, the communication for this lacks (PRT development don’t really read this forum). So the only kind of chance you would have is that you engage your local PRT support and that he/she passes it on as a nice feature to have. Next, he or she will be the only one out of xx (?) and the feature won’t be developed.
Please notice that I regard this so “bad” that I have the stance of developing such things myself for free. Or more practical : have it developed while I pay for it.
So … so Roberto is right. It is not going to happen.
Still it would be the most easily possible, as long as
a. the ticker can be taken out of whatever we drag from;
b. obviously there’s a check for the ticker to be recognized – if not, no drop.
Whether you can Trade it or not, is unimportant because those checks are long gone in there already (all you can find in PRT can be put in a List, regardless whether you will be able to Trade it).
Would I myself want this feature ? No, I don’t think so. I make my own Screeners and they really suffice (and are a lot of fun to make and have).
