  Do I need to apply for this paid service if I want to check the Pro Realtime Chart on my iPhone or iPad?

  Hello kaori, the ProRealTime Software version is free of use with end of day data. You can create the free account here, and even request a free 2 weeks real time trial if you wish when you register (or ask for it to PRT later on):

  https://www.prorealtime.com/en/register

  At the end of a trial you automatically go back to free end of day data, and if you want access to intraday or realtime data you do have to subscribe through the page you mention.
