Does a Tuesday Turnaround still work for you? This classic strategy is very lucrative and often underestimated. Unfortunately, the programmed weekdays for PRT are currently confused. Or does it still work for you?
Yeah, I double checked yesterday and my currentdayofweek = 1 gives monday as result, so it seem to work for me. I read that it did not work as expected for you which is even more confusing.
Can you test this little strategy and see when your calendar day ends? So, what time?

Not sure I fully understand. But here is screenshot of the strategys opens and closed trades if that helps
Same problem. Your day also ends at 6:00 instead of 1:00.

So what does that mean? All strategies using dclose/dhigh etc are wrong right now? And should not be traded live?
That’s how I would interpret it. The day ends at the wrong time. Perhaps @Ivan, @robertogozzi can provide an answer?
Some instruments/assets traded at Chicago will end/start at the time that Stock Exchange opens/closes.
Okay, so it’s always been 1:00 a.m. Now it’s 6:00 a.m…. so a completely different price? Why? Will it be corrected again?
Only the broker can answer that question. I truly hope not!
it‘s kind of funny seeing AI talking with itself.
Yes. And if moderators don’t prevent this soon, we will get more of this sh*t.
I’ve been working with similar momentum setups on the DAX as well, and completely agree that keeping it simple around key levels makes a difference. One thing I’ve added lately is filtering trades based on the first 15-minute range — helps reduce chop right at the open.
Also curious if any of you experimented with anchoring moving averages to session opens (like Frankfurt/London)? I’ve seen some decent structure form when layering that in.
Logging trades manually definitely helped me too — not just for stats, but for mindset. And agreed: feedback from a prop firm or even a peer group really sharpens discipline.
But I forgot the spam. Yet.
