Hi the magnet is unticked but when I copy a line that I placed on the chart it keeps going longer and shorter as I move it. When I place this line it is then longer or the same lengh as the original line. I really just want this line to be a exact copy with the same lenghs as the original line. I’ve ticked and untick so many boxes but this keeps happening. Thank for the help.

It looks to me as if switching the magnet off has no effect. With magnet highlighted or not makes no difference and line snaps to bar or just blank points on the screen .  Will using the previous version of prorealtime perhaps help?

When you say a Line, are you referring to an Arrow as that is what you show in your docx screenshot?

I just drew an arrow and copied it by right click > Copy and the copied arrow is exact same size / length as the original arrow.

Are ou enabling this Arrow by Ctrl+A?

I just did the same with ‘segment’ (a line) and it worked same as I described above with an Arrow.  I did it with the magnet enabled and disabled and the copied segment is same size / length as the original segment.

Maybe this might help you to find out what is causing your weirdness (well not you. but PRT! 😉 ).

Hi I just realized that this only happens in tick charts. With time and volume charts the lines stay exactly the same. Not sure there’s anything that can be done about this. Thank you for your help.

It would be worth submitting a Technical Report to PRT. Add the URL to this Topic in your Report it will save you saying it all over again.

PRT may not even know about this or, as you say, nothing can be done about  the anomaly.

On the PRT Platform, go Help > Help Centre > I’m having a Technical Problem.

Submitting a Technical Report will close the loop on our efforts … the best we can do.
