I’m testing a strategy on several Forex pairs simultaneously (in order to benefit of a diversification effect). I wonder if there is the possibilty to automatically close all the open trades (each one managed by single active strategy). For example: once the overall profit generated by all the open trades achieve 1000 Euro all the open trades are closed.
If it’s not possible do you have any alternative idea?
Thanks
Simple answer….. no.
It is not possible to link strategies running on different instruments or even strategies running on the same instrument.
Your image was not relevant as it was from the other topic you just started so I have deleted it.

I’m back to this topic just to ask if there are traders that would be interested in some new automatic functions for general monitoring/controlling the running trading systems. As far as I’m concerned I would be interested in a function that can close all the running trading systems by a single instruction that should be included in a code. For example, something like “QUIT ALL TRADING SYSTEMS”. I would need also a function that can provide the sum of all strategy profit related to each of the running trading sysyems. I’m working on a strategy that is also based on diversification therefore I need to run more than one trading system at the time thus an overall control of the running multisystem would be very helpful. If a signifcant number of PRT user would be interested, could the PRT development team take into consideration to develop such new features?
This is the place where suggestions for improvements should be posted https://www.prorealcode.com/topic/centralization-of-queries-and-suggestions-on-prorealtime/.
You can add your own request (some are added to the list, some are not, but they are read anyway). The forum is monitored by PRT staff, so they will report to their development team.
Some of the requests have already been implemented, some are in progress, some are likely to be in the future.
Smf1, I agree these would be very useful functions… you should add your request to the list…

Thanks Roberto, I posted the idea where you indicated. Thanks Verygrubby for supporting.
