Changing daily candle open and close times

  I’m testing a strategy based on daily candles. This obviously means that any bets are opened at the close/open of the next candle at midnight UTC (I am UK based). IG vary their spreads meaning that opening a bet at midnight might not be cost effective if that particular market is not open at midnight. How can I change the daily candles time so that for example they open and close at 0800 UTC and not midnight. I have tried to do this in the Options/Platform Options/ Time Zones and Trading Hours but without any success. Can anyone help me with the required settings or am I trying to do the impossible?

  Anyone got any help with this one?

  I’d like daily candles on US indices to open at 1430 and daily candles on UK and European indices to open at 0800 but I just can’t seem to get my head around how to achieve that with the setting changes in the TimeZones and Trading Hours options.

  If you want to change the way daily candlesticks are calculated, you can do it by changing the time zone. Time zones are only incrementing / decrementing by 1 hour (not half hour).

  So if I am thinking right 1700 New York time equals 2200 UK time. So I need a setting of UTC -2. This setting is not available in PRT as -3 is the first setting.
