Just to complicate things UK is in summer time, so GMT+1 I believe?

My question is, I have changed the time zone to reflect London/European +1 ( no problem there). My trading system still shows UTC +2 in auto trading system which lists my current systems running and not running.

I have restarted PRT, stopped and restarted the actual trading system thinking that the new timezone would adjust – but it hasn’t?……………when I right click on the live systems version it still shows up UTC+2

Can anybody point me in the right direction what I have to do?

Assuming you want ALL your running Systems at UTC+1 / GMT+1 (current UK Time) then you need to …

    1.  Ensure your Platform is set to UTC +1.

    2.  Stop ALL running Systems.

    3.   Start ALL running Systems.

Systems start at whatever UTC you have Platform set to (when you start a System) so you must have had your Platform set to UTC+2 the last time you started your Systems?

However, you may like to leave as is / not make any changes until Sunday 30 Oct 22 as UK will then ‘lose 1 hour’ and we will be back to running at UTC/GMT.

    Graham,

Thanks for that although existing trading systems still remain at UTC +2. However I have sorted this……………if you do not use your existing systems that sit in the ‘Not Running’ window after they have been stopped and instead bring up a fresh system from your list of trading systems then it adheres to the new time zone. Any system you restart from the ‘Not Running’ window will carry on operating at the previous time zone.

And yes, you are correct the platform was set to UTC+2 because of an imported system that had to run at that particular time zone.

Noted re the 30th October clock change in UK – good point…………………………..out of curiosity Europe doesn’t change as well – does it?

Yes Europe does change also on 30 Oct.

Re System start Timezone  … it’s a while since I did it, hence, in my instructions, I missed out a vital step … glad you found it and I didnt cause you any £££’s loss!
