Cannot display NYSE stocks

Hello,

I use PRT via IG, and I noticed that I cannot display NYSE stocks.

It happens when I type the stock ticker (ex: BABA, MKL, CABO) and also when I set the screener I have only the NASDAQ market in the market list.

Any ideas?

Yes. I forgot to mention that I use an IG demo account.

Also, I can’t find “US NYSE MARKET Stocks & ETFs”.

i can see MKL and CABO (BABA is an ADR stock so maybe that is why we cant see BABA??)

How weird!

There must be an option somehwere on the IG settings specific to our Accounts that I have ticked, but you haven’t ticked?? Only an idea and if I think of anything else I will let you know.

Are you on the spreadbet account or CFD account or what??

I just realised that your screen shot does not show any DFBs whereas mine shows DFB whenever I search for a ticker.

EDIT / PS

Is that PRT on an IG account that you have done the screenshots from??

Yes. In the My IG page I can see that I have a CFD account.

What does it mean and how do I change it?

The spread bet account is specific to UK users, so you have a “normal” CFD account like mine for instance (and the majority of users). I have the NYSE list in my account. I think that you might send a report through the platform to know why you don’t have that list in your platform, because I see no reason presently..

@assafn I suggest you use the technical report tool available in the platform in the help section menu.

Hey I just had a thought … have you opened the SB Account, like ticked the box to enable it??

You may be on share dealing only!!??

There are 3 Options … SB, CFD and Share Dealing … or all 3 if you want!

Sorry for the delay, I wasn’t home.

This is very wierd… when I go to “settings” what I get is a reduced version of your menu without “data-feeds”.

Also, I got a response from IG that confused me even more…
