Can Screeners work for Renko charts?

Can screeners be created for Renko charts?
I want to start building a scanner that finds reversals and directional momentum – if it can be done on intraday tick/minute charts, preferably 2 minutes.
The circled areas shown below are the most important, which are reversals indicated by a move off the Bollinger bars. The indicator is one from the library that locates RSI divergences and I’m not sure if it’s the best idea, but it’s a starting point.
Better confirming actions might be the Parabolic SAR, preceding +DI, and volume spikes.
Yeah, that’s too bad. How about another angle?
Look at this graph, in particular the volume spike just past 12 where the trend pivots. Is it possible to pick that up as it’s on the way up in that one bar? Or even after it’s complete would be alright too…
