    Hi,

I find it easier to data mine in Excel. Is it possible to download the historical bar chart data into Excel? Lots of platforms allow you to export a chart as a .csv file and when you open it you get the open, high, low, close for each bar?

I know with the DDE link you can download live price feeds but i’m looking for historical OHLC of each bar.

I have attached an image in case you are unsure what it would look like.

In theory it would be very easy for ProRealTime to do as all the data is there just needs an export to excel function. Hopefully they do.

    Thanks

    Tom

    Hi,

there’s no way to directly export market data from PRT to Excel or CSV but  its possible to download historical prices from IG Markets datafeed. It uses a free Excel spreadsheet from IG markets website.

or you can give a try with this workaround with OCR and a custom code in PRT: https://www.prorealcode.com/topic/how-to-extract-every-candles-data/#post-96205
