AccountID does not have permission for Epic + Locale combination

    Got this error “AccountID does not have permission for Epic + Locale combination”  the other day

    Anyone have any idea what it is and what to do to fix it?

    Yes, I had that years ago and after querying it with IG, I needed to pick another Instrument (same Instrument but differtent Contract).

    Hope above makese sense and helps … try it anyway and let us know.

    My algo was trying to buy the “Natural gas SEP-24, 2.5$” contract. Algo been working for 7 months, new contract every month, this was the first time it tried to buy the September contract.

    It does not make many trades per month so kinda sucks I missed one

    Will swap to the Oct-24 and hope for the best

    Do you normally buy $ contracts?

    Is there a natural gas euro contract?

    When I got that ‘Epic + Locale combination error message’ … it was telling me that I was trying to buy in the wrong currency for my domicile / Locality.

    All natural gas contracts are in dollars 2.50$ or 10$, only thing new was that this was the September one.

    Has the 2.5$ Gas contract always worked fine for you previously?

    Worked fine since October last year when I started the program
