Not sure how you define Renko Type? There is a box and it has a boxsize, that’s it. When I think of Type I think of Moving Average Types and a whole list of numbers that relates to each one. But earlier you were referring to “Renko Type = 2.”

I wouldn’t take a man made synthetic supplement if I have a choice. There are 000’s of chemicals and compounds in fruit and vegetables that nutritionists and researchers still haven’t found out what they do. So best to take naturally derived supplements. Better still try this: 1 Tablespoon of organic cold pressed olive oil 2 or 3 times a day, then tell me how you feel in 3 weeks. You’ll start noticing the difference in cognitive function, mood and in your joints. We really ought to start a separate thread…

Anyway I getting back to the subject in hand, yes I thought I was seeing odd increments in the oscillator threshold steps of 0.1 being graphed. I will have to check again. I just put it down to my settings.
I often got better performance by reducing MaxIncrement so that if you were going from -1 to +1 in steps of 0.1 I wouldn’t use 20 but 10 or 5. As you say I would also then see it jump from eg 0.4 to 1.0 but have not investigated if the MaxIncrement had been hit and it was then using an average. I have seen that average with some very erratic numbers and movement eg on the Stop Loss for the Renko (in my last itf on the previous page). 

Good to see you got good results of that “tick by tick”backtest on that Renko system. Have you VRT tested it yet? I need to figure that out.
