Hi

I open this topic because i guess that the best system for TH 1S, would be to have only a strategy based on candlestick (without any indicator or heiki ashi.. )

For 1s TF, i think the candlestick is the only way to have a quick result

I imagine a system based on double or triple TF, volatility on one candle measured by her size and the different combinations of the different candles

What do you think about that ? someone has already tried this approach in live ?

On my side, i start on it.. good luck to myself

nothing for the moment

just the size of the candle and the acceleration or deceleration based on x candles, based on dow theory

Interesting indicator! I’ve worked on that one too. Goal was to filter out the which pattern works best (optimisation) and create a strategy based on the combination of best patterns. Didn’t take off though. It’s here where I got the trend detection system which works nicely and I still grab back to some parts of this code sometimes.

haven’t loaded it anymore or test it. It was early wip.

i think there are severel levels for the combinations

Only few patterns are really interesting in order to have our “big” candle

I’ve had that message loads over the years (most of us have?) and I’ve never been able to find anything definite for the reason.

I reckon it is a ‘catch all’ when nothing more meaningful fits as an error message??

I start my System again with no changes and they work fine for days / weeks / months?

That’s was i tought but it’s a strategy TF 1s and it happens at least 6/7 times per day.. :/

Have you got conditions for all 4 … Buy, Sell, SellShort and ExitShort.

Reason I ask, is I vaguely recall one time having repeated stop for the Status message and I inserted a Sell condition (I had the other 3) and then the System worked fine after that.
