We can’t argue with the IG response … seems new customers would only get US data feed in a Live account? Cost I guess … IG are making savings??
What does anybody else get on the Settings menu so we can compare with mine and assafn?

Yeah deffo … new IG Accounts have to complete a multi-choice questionnaire on trading .. it is to assess your knowledge, I guess too gauge ow much hand holding you may need in the first few weeks / months.
Best make sure you get most questions correct elese they may be phoning you up asking how are you doing etc?
You should see a link to click on the IG login screen or somewhere under your Account details.
I think this is why you have limited settings and can only see ‘Share Dealing data’??

I thought you said you had an IB Account?? You can only manual trade on an IB Account is my understanding?
Is the IG Account you are displaying screen shots from an old one you have had opened for ages / 18 months +??
Or is it a new IG Account you opened (in the last week or so?) to try and get NYSE data and run Algos etc??
It’s an account from about a week ago. I opened it to try auto trading.
Try same url as on my pic attached … i.e. click on your Dashboard, what do you see??

All I can say is that maybe IG have changed Account opening procedures in the last 6 weeks or so?
Maybe the multi choice questions pop up when you try to open a Live Account?
So we are back to square 1!? 🙁
Well not really are we … because IG told you that you would not see NYSE data on a Demo Account.
So are you all good now then or what is the outstanding problem?

According to IG’s answer, they are not offering US data feeds on a demo account.
