    Dear Prorealcode forum

I have found the zigzag cumulative volume indicator on the website. This is very useful for wykoff-weis analysis.

I wanted to develop a similar indicator as the zigzag cumulative volume, but instead of volume I would like to show the cumulative pip movement of that wave.

I have developed the exact indicators on Amibroker. Attached screenshot of my amibroker setup for reference.

As you can be seen on the attached picture, I have:1) normal price chart (top pane), 2) zigzag cumulative volume (middle pane, I call this volume swing) and 3) zigzag cumulative pip (bottom pane, I call this pip swing).

Are you able to please assist with the zigzag cumulative pip indicator? the calculation of this is very simple. If the zigzag is upward, then cumulative pip is = close – trough.

Else if, zigzag is downward, then cumulative pip is = peak – close.

Any assistance or guidance is greatly appreciated.

    regards

    Deepak

Any change this indicator could be what you are looking for? It is not cumulative pips, but distance since the last Zigzag point: https://www.prorealcode.com/topic/ziigzag-with-points/

    Dear Mr Nicolas

Thank you for your response. This does look like something i can use.

I am struggling to understand how to implement this onto my chart. Based on the link you sent me, the instruction was:

The indicator must be separated into 2 different codes. One that plot the previous zigzag points and segments and another one that plot the actual price difference since the last point, here are the 2 codes below:

Apply them on your price chart.”

I applied them on my price chart, but get nothing except a big number at the current price. I tried changing the parameter and still nothing. See the three screenshots below.

I see comments from other users on the link you sent me where happy with the code and indicator. Perhaps I must be doing something wrong?

    Appreciate your response.

    Regards

    Deepak
