Working out the Spread for back testing

    Noob here, How do I work out what to put in the spread for IG markets version 10.2. see attached PIC please.

    The spread is set in the point size of the instrument. You can find this value in the information panel, mouse over the ‘i’ icon at the right of the instrument’s name, on top of the chart window.

    If I am doing a Backtest and my Bot runs 24/7 I insert a spread (in the settings) that is a compromise between day spread and night spread. So for example the Dax is 1 in the day but 2+ overnight so I insert 2 as a worse case compromise.
