Why data of screener on weekend is delayed

  Hello,

  when I run my screener in weekend (Sunday) in a weekly timeframe, the result data is not corresponding to the nearest Friday but to the previous week.
  I wonder if is there any way of configuring the screener so that on Saturday or Sunday PRT consider that we are in the next week and respond with data of the closing week.

  Hello,

  Maybe you are screening shares that quote from Monday to Friday or Sunday to Friday? Depends on day when your ran your screener.

  I think you don’t have access to real time data and only End Of Day (EOD) one? So if you are launching a screener on a share list that you don’t have real-time data, calculation will be made on the Thursday data. If you need Friday data result on weekend you’ll have to wait for the next traded day, in this case Monday.

  First of all, thank you Nicolas for your help.

  Additional information

  • I don’t have access to real time data, only end of day.
  • I screen for shares of Nasdaq and NYSE
  • Always talking about weekly timeframe
  • Normally I screen on Suturday or Sunday
  • The screener close data results is of the previous week, but not to the closest Friday. However, I can see the closest data or closest Friday data of the week in any screen of workpaces.

  So, the question is if is there any way to have Friday weekly data in the same weekend apart of real time options with cost.

  I’m afraid you have no better option than to opt for real time to get the fresh data for your screeners.
