You shouldn’t limit yourself to the strategies published in the library; you should take them as examples and as a source of inspiration for new strategies in addition to the hundreds of indicators that you can find.
In addition, many of these strategies are dated and therefore adapted to different market conditions.
Do not forget that even among the forums there are good strategies and numerous sources of inspiration thanks to the our skilled coders. 🙂

Hi Bruno, I have one live bot with the DAX30 and it is based on ALMA Macd crossover and with added filters using TEMA average. The strategy requires parameters optimisation on a quarterly basis and also uses a trailing stop based on previous lower lows (for long positions) and previous higher highs (for short positions. The strategy has been profitable in DEMO account and now is also profitable on the live one.

It is a trend following strategy, therefore OK with the DAX but a disaster with volatile / not trending markets.

The strategy is not published on the forum, but if you are interested Nicolas has published the code for the Alma macd indicator.

I’m runing the v1 of this strategy since 29 april 2020 in demo DJ 1euros only 1 point each trade, and it’s doing very bad since that day. Be carful with this one.

Im running the short only EUR/USD that was posted here a while ago. I dont really trust it just yet even tho it has performed rather well, a couple big losses has dragged down the P/L but other than that, it seems consistent. Its the only one i run from this forum because its very simple and seems robust..

I’ve been using PRT for 6 weeks now. I’m using a range of strategies, but all are currently Index trading, I use another platform for FX currently, but will be migrating some across to PRT in due course. I have found this site to be fantastic for ideas on how to improve existing ideas, as well as inspire new strategies which I am still working on.

The attached image shows the PnL for the 5 Index strategies over these last 6 weeks, one is “mother of Dragons” which I have de-risked but lowering TP and SL targets. The others (Piranha, Shark, and “Test”) are ones that I already had, but thanks to ProRealCode I have been able to dramatically improve.

So a big thank you to everyone that contributes, I try in my own small way to add to the posts when I can. I think things will go up a level when the new Market Place feature goes live.
