Hi,

I have clicked on everything that looks like this item in the centre of my image but can’t find it under Display? Any ideas anyone?

Hey Bard – that is the 2nd level order book. This is available for PRT-IB under a separate subscription. Otherwise (also PRT-IG) it is available without order book (but with trading capabilities).
Please notice that I have Premium; this may matter.

Did you try the wrench button/icon ? there are MANY settings in there. Maybe less with Complete ?
It is hard to imagine that you won’t have these settings !
But no 2nd level data for IG …

Hi Bard,

IG has the options that Peter mentions and exists for AUS clients, I’d be surprised if it doesn’t exist for UK clients.

What Peter said is true however, there’s no L2 depth orderbook with what IG offers across many instruments re: Indicies for example. They do/did offer a share DMA mechanism that offers/offered L2 on shares and you pay an exchange fee for L2 access – this should give you access to what you’re after in DMA shares (if leaning that way), OTC derivatives I’d say that would be a hard no.

What I’m saying about OTC is IGs over the counter derivatives (CFDs) as opposed to what PRT might be able to do with partners when trading Futures direct (IB etc) for example and have L2 available and exposed to you for an exchange royalty fee.

Depends on what you want to do.

That image you posted is for ‘scalping’ or what IG call scalping on the AUS platform.

IG in AUS has PRT Complete.

Hope this helps, if I’ve arsed anything the chaps on the forum will point it out…. 🙂

Cheers for the help, I spoke to IG and it’s not available with a £30/m subscriptions. Not sure how to get it.

Literally that would be correct because it requires an extra subscription. Mind you, for the 2nd level orderbook. But for IG (your mentioned 30/m ?) the 2nd level orderbook does not exist. Only the one without individual order lines … (and then it is for free ? I don’t know – I have Premium with that 30/m).
