Using ML or R in PRT

Hi’ Guys,

I don’t think there is any possibility of using R script/code in the PRT strategies. Anyone using alternative methods to enable some kind of ML features on this?

I would love to see, if PRT includes R code possibility.

This is like asking can you program PRT script in an R environment.

If you want to use R I think you will have to go via API.

It’s not possible to interact with any other software through PRT.

Analysis could be done outside the platform with MathLab or R, but the trading capabilities of ProOrder don’t allow any input from them.

I asked at PRT and they said there is no way of exporting price data to be able to process it in matlab. Do you see a way of doing it?

I was just wondering, because I’ve seen another trading platform, which allows integrated use of R and R codes. As it provides a whole new set of opportunities, I thought it would be wonderful to have it on PRT.

I definitely think, it should be considered as part of future upgrades.

@Despair, I don’t see any export features irt. to autotrading.
