Upgrade v10 to v11 Question about saved studies

  Good morning.

  A friend of mine run Version 10.3 – 1.8.045  date 20191113. He desire to upgrade to current version 11 but has two question. May you help to solve his doubt?

  1) I need to try new 3.11 version mantaining the possibility to access to the old one 3,10. Can you confirm me if is it possible, and how to do that?

  2)  In addition, after upgrade to v11, can you confirm the possibility to see the same studied already saved in old version?

  Sorry but how do you plan to update from a version to another? You can’t choose by yourself, since the platform version number is imposed by the broker used.

  In my experience, i use PRT without Broker, upgrade from 10 to 11 was at my choice. I receive a prompt and i have the chance to say both ” no thanks” or “yes, of course”.
  In my own case, i upgrade. My friend say ‘no, thanks’, and he is afraid to loose his studies on platform if reply ‘yes’ to upgrade to 11.

  @Nicolas … I think the question is … if / when we upgrade to v11 will all out Indicators, Screeners and Auto-Systems ‘move’ with us / still be available against our Profile (as they are now on v10.3)??

  is not enough: may i try e come back to 10.3 if something goes wrong?

  You’ll not be able to use it v10.3 anymore after you have accepted the upgrade to v11, if you don’t use the v10.3 for 3 weeks.

  All studies, templates, .. will be transferred and usable in v11, at first launch. Therefore, if you add more templates in 10.3 after that, they will not be transferred to v11.

  So we get a 3 week trial of v11 and if we don’t revert back to v10.3 before the end of 3 weeks then we have  to stay with v11.
