I took what he means as to be what he showed in the two images in his post where he shows the autotrading window and then the code obviously accessed via this window.
Codes prepared for trading and shown in this window I assume are now on the IG server and either running live or ready to run live and so not available for alteration. This is why they cannot be edited. The original code is still available elsewhere and can be altered, renamed or even deleted and will have no effect on those codes ‘prepared’ for auto trading – which all seems perfectly logical to me.
