turtle system 2 stop?

    hi all, i have been paper trading using the turtle system 2 for uk stocks it seems to perform well over my sample 100 trades so far, lots of small losses but some great winners , however as is well known it tends to give up a lot of gains before the exit signal also, so i am thinking about using a trailing ATR stop additionally to the initial stop ,obviously one has to accept missing  a big move but im thinking it may over a period prove worthwhile. Does anyone have opinion on stops other exit strategies for this system ?   thanks in advance

    The fact is that you can’t really know if a trailing stop is better than the original exit of the turtle strategy. Since each stock has its own behavior, and because many people are focusing on the same level (such as the lowest low of X periods), I think that the original concept could remain the best option to exit your orders.
