I’m currently still using v11 but wanted to try v12 again (I had a look ages ago but stuck with v11). When I loaded v12 the only saved workspaces were those that I had maybe 18 months ago, anything newer wasn’t there. I re-installed v12, but it was still the same, all my most recent (and those I currently use) workspaces aren’t there.
I know I can manually recreate the workspaces, but it would take quite a lot of time and I’m sure there must be a way to access them from v12; any thoughts please?

When in v11, Go File > Edit Workspace and you should see a tab ‘Export Workspace’?
Then when in v12, Go File > Import Workspace.

There’s no option to “Export Workspace” under File, I have the following options:
Load workspace
Set as default workspace on this computer
Save
Save as
Modify/delete
Close all windows
Quit
Click on Modify and does further options then become visible?
When I go into Modify, it shows all my workspaces underneath a bar space with options to:
Create a shortcut or make a favourite, and then to
Save
Duplicate
Load
Delete
The workspaces can be filtered to display all, favourites. personal or pre-defined, and can be xorted alphabetically or chronologically.
Mmmmit seems that option to export workspaces is not available in v11.
We all had a ‘one time’ auto-export of v11 workspaces from v11 to v12 the first time we logged in to v12.
As you have logged into v12 previously but have since made changes to workspaces in v11 then I gues your one time auto-export option has gone.
Only thing I can suggest is that you ask PRT direct (or via IG) to export your current workspaces from v11 to v12, include a link in your mail to this Topic and it should save you a lot of detailed explanation?
I see that v12 has the Import option you mentioned; would v11 not save workspaces somewhere on my computer that I could import them into v12 from?
I logged into my v11 for you to double-check and alas, no export option.
In v12 there is Help > export my Personal Data (might be in v11 also) … this gets saved as a text file I believe, but I doubt it applies to workspaces.
Your best bet probably is to ‘send a console’ to PRT via IG by going HELP > Technical Problem > Other … do this while in v12 and state that your workspaces from v11 have not come across. Say that this is the first time you have logged into v12 😉 .
You may have to patiently wait for a few weeks even, but you may be lucky and somebody at PRT will do an export from v11 to v12 for you.

No apart the PRT Loader for starting PRT, nothing is save on our computers … everything else is all saved on PRT servers.
So best not to refer to this thread then 😂🤣😂.
I must admit I thought there would be a simple option that I’m missing, but it would seem not. I’ll probably allocate a chunk of time over the weekend to manually recreate the workspaces I use most often.
