    Hi there

     

    Im new to this forum and im kinda impressed of all the things everyone have done amazing work !!

     

    My thing is that i have done lots of reading different books on the topics of trading, The thing is atm i have the problem finding a system that is backtested and i know have a a edge if i just follow it. I dont have any programming skills so backtesting in pro real time is like flying to the moon for me:).

     

    I work 8 hours / day so swing trading is my thing atm so i would like having a screener that i can find setups after the market is closed and can put out limits day before.

     

    But how do i go forward how do i find a tested system on the swedish market of the like 50 most volume based stocks:=), Do i learn my self or how?, Any recomendations?

    If you need a screener you have to post your request on the ProScreener forum (choose one of the languages), try to post as many details as possible about what you want.

    Someone will answer for sure.

    To learn about programming (PRT uses a subset of the BASIC programming language) there are many videos, both free and at a fair price. You may find more on the YouTube channel of ProrealTime, in several languages.

    Backtesting is real easy, you underestimate yourself!  (you probably mean Backtesting your own coded System is like flying to the moon??)

    Get familiar with all the controls and buttons – don’t worry you cant break it – pick a real simple System off here to use as a trial / Test Bed.

    Here you are, here’s a simple strategy that I’m sure you’ve read about?

    Do all above on your Demo Platform, don’t think about trading Live until you are making money on Demo first.

    Try above Heiken-Ashi System on DJI 15m or 30m TF with a 4 point spread … you’ll be amazed at the results and hooked for life!! 🙂

    Thanks for the response:), But say i wanna trade bollinger band on daily or 4hour timeframe how do i even start, Criteria for me is touch upper lower or the moving averge combine with candle pattern for either log or short but how do i continue and how do i test if it works:)?

    If Manual Trading, have you opened your Platform, added the Bollinger Band Indicator and done a few trades? ALL ON DEMO OF COURSE! 🙂

    Was thinking doing it all manual , Screener only to be bit lazy and faster find setups, Was going to do it only on the swedish markets. But as always wanna find best possible setup that earn me the most:) sound that story about the graal once more.

    Yeah

     

    Much to look through indicator i get is a indicator screener is condiotion on finding setups from the screener, Strategies is that automated systems ?

    i guess i have to look throug all the screeners backtesting and find the best for the markets im trading does that sound legit?:)

    You kinda sound like you are not familiar with the PRT Platform? If I am wrong, apologies.

    If I am right then first thing is to get familiar … small baby steps and all that! 🙂

    Next step after above would be to do as Roberto suggested.
