Hi,
I just switched to the new multi-timeframe engine v10.3 from IG and i notice that there is an error in the “time” function.
i switched back to v10.2 and the error is gone
You guys can easily simulate and produce the error(using the new engine):
In a tradesystem
Show=time
Graph time
In a indicator (indicator does not have multi-timeframe)
Show=time
Return show as “time”
My tradesystem and indicator shows different timing; when i tried it on v10.2, it is working fine.
Can someone helps to fix this or did i miss out some configurations?

just adding more info:
the tradesystem in v10.3(w multi time frame) default to UTC 00:00 time
on the indicator in the same platform the timing is correctly peg to my pc time UTC +8
Could you please share the exact code you are using for the backtest part? Just to be sure of what you are doing and to replicate the same on my platform. Thank you.

Thanks for your respond, please see attached:
the variable from the trade system is indicating time in the wrong timezone; while the indicator is correct.
i only experience this issue after changing to 10.3 with multi timeframe. Previously the time function is working fine. (yesterday after IG switch).
Is there anything i can do from my end to help?

Are you able to simulate the error from your end?
Btw, i did a test buy on the tradesystem on live IG account, the timing in the live trade system is the same as the probacktest.

I do not have the problem, I’m not with IG. I’m aware that the IG demo PRT version differ from the live one also. I know that an update is planned normally on next week for IG demo server… If I have more useful information, I’ll post them here.
In order to replicate the issue, could you please send a report through the Help Center of the platform? Menu Help/Help Center or CTRL+M. (add a link to this topic).

Hi Nicolas,
i did sent a report via platform, still awaiting for responses.
Recently i found an new error :(please see attached)

If there is a volume function after timeframe(default), there will be an error. Executing volume before the timeframe is fine.
Is it possible to raise this to the support team too.

Thank you, I can replicate this one too, I reported it.
The “Volume error” is being processed by the dev team, FYI.
The “Volume error” is solved.

Hi Nicolas,
Merry Christmas!
In relation to the time error in 10.3, i found a new piece of information.
It seems that the error will only occur if i select “Singapore timezone UTC +8”.
if i switch to “hong kong timezone UTC +8”, the error is resolved.
Will you be able to test out if the error is only unique to me or it is in the platform.
(Btw, i raise an report through the Help Center of the platform, they arent able to resolved it)
