Hi @Grahal,
Good to see you around; actualy I was expecting you and I wanted to tag you but it is not allowed (maximum respect for moderators 😉
Do you remember how we tried to create some cooperation in here on a idea that you launched in 2018? https://www.prorealcode.com/topic/one-year-after/page/4/#post-72800
Hi @Francesco,
I am trying to make this fantastic initiative from Grahal go further, to allow us to select and enhance performing strategies:
https://www.prorealcode.com/topic/grahals-link-libraries-more/page/3/#post-93038
Would you enter your performances LIVE (no cash to be shown) in order to grow our global excellence?

That would be fantastic as you are a key contributor!
Chris
I was so frustrated to see that nothing would happen; surprisingly, I was the only one with @Inertia to share some results on your document; as you know, everybody keeps his little secrets about one’s performance;
I felt also very desappointed by answers like this one even if it really makes sense
“I think that if someone has spent a lot of time and effort on a strategy and then had it patiently on forward test for a year or even just several months and it has proven to perform as well as it did in the back test then it is unlikely that they would be willing to share it to Joe Public just because they were spammed – sorry ‘personally messaged’ on these forums. Unless that is there is a Porsche or Mercedes in the deal as Inertia suggests.
There are plenty of hints and tips and advice based on solid experience on these forums that if studied, tested and given time will result in your own solid strategies that you probably won’t want to share after all your study and effort.
But it contained some good but painful advice
Maybe you could just go back through the library and check out the results of all the strategies shared within there and present the OOS results for everyone to check out. There might be a nugget of a strategy but even if there isn’t then your efforts might allow yourself and those who you share the findings with the chance to see what doesn’t work and also maybe improve your and their ability to recognise serious curve fitting?
Effort = Reward!
Feeling lost at one time about being profitable with algotrading is what pushed me to really dive into this project which took me several months;
It’s a lot of fastidious work as you can imagine and I want to help the community as much as this new adventure of MetaSignalsPro as we believe there are some people who do understand the interest of algos but who just do not have the time, the passion and the patience to develop innovative tools.
So yes, I feel fair to make some kind of trade off with this very valuable content on which we are not set yet;
But concerning the “contribution” would you feel confortable with this
Do we need to buy Algos from Meta Signals Pro (via Market Place) in order to see the backtest results of the 208 Strats from the Library of this site?
Very best,
Chris
