    Hi,

I am from Sweden and have been using IG with PRT for a while.

I was wondering if anyone from Sweden could help me out with the potential tax effects trading these CFDs have?

What I don’t know is what kind of “förlustavdrag” you can make from with certain instruments.

For example, I know that trading indices or individual stocks/ETFs has a 100% loss deduction (so that 10000 profit – 10000 loss = 0 tax effect), but trading Oil or other commodities has a 70% loss deduction (10000 profit – 10000 loss * 0.7 = 3000 taxable profit even if no profit was made!).

So I am very reluctant to build systems around commodities because of this tax effect.

My question is how are currency pairs and bonds taxed?

I am looking to build systems around Bund, 10-year treasury and EUR/USD etc.

Does anyone know how these will be taxed? Can I do 100% loss deductions?

    Best regards,

    Cleverton

Eric – please only use English in the English speaking forum. The question was asked in English so I’m sure that a reply is English will be perfectly fine. 🙂
