"System Error" EURUSD- anyone else experience the same?

    After over 1000 trades I finally received the System Error notice in Order List in PRT.

    The system attempted to Close the position and after 10 attempts it failed and Stopped running the system.

    Has anyone else experienced this yet?

    Yes, this morning two of my strategies (EURUSD and AUDUSD) were stopped with the same error message “system error”.

    I also had problems to login the morning and after I could login again the 2 strategies were stopped. So I assume this had to do with IG markets being offline and has nothing to do with the stopped strategies.

    Same issue here on my USD/JPY strategies, IG really have a way of disappointing me over and over again.

    Question is how can we as a community of traders keep them accountable, as surely they should be able to provide better reliability, especially where clients money are involved.

    I agree. Their downtime is more than one would wish from a service involving money. Especially when this happened this morning I was unable to login BUT I had an open position! I wasn’t able to see how it is doing and have no idea if SL or TP would have been executed during this period. The only thing I could have done was to call IG and ask (what I did not).

    I didn’t lose any money this time but who knows how it will be next time…

    But the question is how do we petition their uptime reliability? It has really become worse and worse over the last couple of months.


    @Nicolas     @Maz do you maybe have an idea how to take this up with an institution like IG?

    HI All,

    on  Tuesday ( this week) there was a problem with IG broker …

    So  , me too I  was   short with  one of my trading system . At 11.00 morning  my TS  gives an order to close the position but IG broker not respond …   Automatik strategy  gives  other  input order  but IG not respond …

    In this case  the Trading system  received back  a warning and the  prorealtime platform ‘blocked’ the  trading system

    There is a possibility to avoid this , whit the  specific ‘set up’   in the  prorealtime platofrm .

    This flag , could avoid  this  block in a trading system and  the position  stay  in the market … but the system was blocked  in any case  ( Obviously  you should follow the position manually )

    I don’t know IF I  could help you with my little topic
