  You have to open an IG account via PRT and then do the minimum number of significant size trades each month (although significant is undefined by IG).

  OR

  We are suffering a little bit of thread drift…. but from my experiences you get better PRT customer service going with a PRT sponsored account as your customer service needs don’t have to go via IG first. I often received phone calls offering assistance from PRT with the PRT sponsored account.

  You have to the monthly minimum number of trades but then IG also have the odd cull of inactive accounts as we all found out last Christmas so there isn’t much advantage or disadvantage on that one.

  For me I tried the 200k for a while but as I mainly like daily and weekly trading the 200k was not of any benefit so I let the premium account go.
