Stop loss on MA, End of day

    Hello,

    I would like to set a stop loss for if the ‘close’ price at the end of a day period is below a moving average. I don’t want the stop to kick in if the moving average is touched or crossed during the day.

    Would this work if:
    I set an alert on the moving average. Tick the box for ‘at end of current candle’ rather than ‘current period’. Associate a sell order to the alert.

    Could anybody tell me if this would work and if not, is it possible to set up?

    I’ve used the Associated  Buy / Sell to an Alert and it does work fine.

    You’d be on a Daily / 1 day Time frame?

    I would say it would work as you want, but best to test it on Demo on first?
