STC – SCHAFF TREND CYCLE in pro-builder

    STC – SCHAFF TREND CYCLE  was created by Doug Schaff and has revealed his secret in 2008.   It combines the advantages of the MACD and the Stochastic into a single indicator.  This is the reason why STC is so popular and also ranks amongs the leading indicators. I wonder why such an important indicator is not available in pro builder to build a strategy. Obviously, the indicator is available by writing the formula yourself and inserting it into the strategy. STC in probuilder instead of self-written STC indicator in basic, will improve the quality of the STC strategy (faster and no rounding errors for long periods). Also consider the pro-realtime image.

    Right, you can always written in BBCcode whatever I have communicated.

    However, if it is available in probuilder, the strategy has more advantages (speed and quality). the bbc code must first be converted to the code, which uses prorealtime for its default indicators. So convert at least 1 * less.

    If you only have a simple strategy then you have no problems, but for a robust strategy you also need long periods. And then quality counts (rounding errors) and calculation time and memory.

    I know that for more than 15 years (I start in chartnet),   I try to tell that the schaff indicator is not available  in pro-builder as default-indicator in the list of indicators. Of course every indicator you can put in  the list of “my indicator” .

    I understand, but this indicator is not a “usual” (classic?) default one in trading platforms, so I would suggest that you send a suggestion directly to PRT to embed it by default: https://www.prorealtime.com/en/contact?suggestion=1
