So I’ve been playing about with some algorithms on the 2min time frame and have  had some success in backtests as well as live trading.. But I’ve had to resort to backtesting manually with pen and paper with data from another platform due to the limit on how far back the system lets you back test.

Is there any way to get around this? Changing the start and stop dates doesn’t seem to work.

Attached is a good example. Seems like a good system… I have also ran it live so I know it works. But I had to manually backtest it before I felt safe running it… The screenshot could easily have been a ‘lucky month’.

    Hi,

With PRT Premium I basically have a bit more than 1 year data available on the 2 minutes timeframe.

Feel free to share your code here if you are willing one of us to backtest it with these data. Or just upgrade to PREMIUM version.
