Good day,

Is there a way to create an indicator that identifies + alerts you when there’s rapid price movements (ralley or drop), occuring over a short space of time? I’ve noticed this feature on another platform. Can it be applied to ProReal?

I can make an indicator that signals what you ask for, but you have to tell me how you want to identify a sharp movement.

As for alerts, indicators cannot alert, but you can manually set alerts from the platform on the indicator.

We can look at:

1.Forex e.g Within a 1 min timeframe we have a jump in price say 150 to 200 pips

2. Indi ces e.g. South Africa Top 40 Within a 5 min timeframe we have a jump of 150 to 250 points.

3. If the indicator works with ticks as well, that would be great!

I tested it on DAX, both 5-minute and 10-tick TF (changing the number of pips, of cource):
```
DEFPARAM CalculateOnLastBars = 1000
n = 20 * pipsize                     //20+ pips difference will be returned
return close > (close[1] + n)
```
