If you have Set Stop Trailing in your code, do you also use Set Stop loss? The reason I ask this question is in ig platform when you define a trailing stop, you have to define both Stop Distance and Step. In Set Stop Trailing X, is X equivalent to Step?
Yes, it is, but there is no delayed start. It starts immediately to trail.
You cannot set both Stop Loss and Trailing Stop (despite what documentation says), once PRT detects one of them the previous one is replaced.
Thar’s why I only use Nicolas’code to trail stops. Its only drawback is that it is executed when the candle closes and by then, in higher TFs, many pips may have passed your settings!
