Dear All,

I have made an indicator which gives a value between 0 and 1 and which gives then an alert when the value of 1 is reached. The alert on my pc works perfect, but:

Does anyone know how to send a notification from that alert to your phone?

When you set an alert that is about an indicator from PRT itself (serverbased indicator), there is no problem to send an sms or even an email (serverbased indicator) but when you code on our pc this doesn’t seem to be possible.

Has someone experienced this before and solved this?

Sorry but it is not possible to send alerts outside of the platform with a custom/personal indicator (other than the default ones).

I just have an idea: If I autotrade through IG, do you know if they send an email when the buy order is executed?

Yes and a notification if you want one … you need to go into your IG account dealing settings and enable this option.
