    Hi everyone,

I am new here and excited to learn more about the software (idea is to build something and backtest it), however I am having trouble looking for the “pieces” of code I need here in the forum. I cant find a “search topic” field/button? Can someone please let me know how can I search specific topics here more efficiently, also in order to avoid creating posts about topics that might have already been addressed?

    Many thanks.

    Hi,

welcome on the site, you can find the search box either on the site front page, or at the top right corner of current page (and other forum pages) when hovering mouse over your avatar, on first line of drop down menu. I attach a couple of screen captures to illustrate.

Additionally, if your logged out, avatar pulldown menu  isn’t available, but that doesn’t stop looking at the forum etc., but attached images and code files won’t show up in the posts.

If you get the feeling that referenced images and/or files aren’t there, that the first thing to look at.

Every now and again you get automatically logged out, and depending how your using site may not realise.

Also under Help menu, there a option for the ProBuilder Language documentation, and option help centre, has link at top to the manuals.

    Welcome.

    Hello Watanabix,

What works much better is giving your search term to Google, like this :

    prorealcode [your search term]

    example :

prorealcode search specific topics here more efficiently
    (just try it 🙂 )

    or

    prorealcode “time of day”

or for the more command specific keywords (be short with them because commands are) :

    prorealcode time

I wish you great fun !
    Peter
