I see that it is not possible to scan on timeframes smaller than 1 minute.
So, what is the practical maximum # of US stocks that could be scanned every minute using a screener?
Does the screener run remotely or on my local machine?

The speed of ProScreener depends mainly on your code itself, try to avoid loops for instance, they increase a lot the time to get results for the complete shares list. Because the program is run remotely, ProScreener must prepare all available stocks in the desired timeframe in order to get the program running and if your stocks list is huge, it can take a while to fetch them all.

My screener is set at 5 minutes. But immediately after the criteria is met, it appears in the list on my screen. I screen for US Stocks too. Have to change between NYSE and Nasdaq lists though. Would be nice if this could be done simultaneously.

You can choose the 2 lists at the same time, or if you want to separate the results, you can also launch the screener 2 times, each time for a different list, one for NYSE stocks and another for the NASDAQ stocks.
