Renko count down timer

  Can Renko Blocks have a count down timer? In particular in tick format?

  Hi GraHal,

  Yeah you’re right, a bit vague in my question.

  In candle format, you have a little box with the price which counts down the candle till it is closed, whether in 4hr, 1hr, 10 minute, 3 minute etc etc. It even works if you set the time to tick format.

  But I don’t seem to be able to activate it in Renko bricks, so that I can see when the Renko brick closes?

  The renko brick is dependent on price difference since the last box so how can you count down to such a condition (unless you have a crystal ball? 🙂 ) ?

  Renko brick is not time-based and so cannot count down (like a candle which is time based).

  So…………………..the only way to be alerted of a certain Renko Brick formation would be via an alarm of sorts?

  Yes you could set a price level alert and receive a push notification to your mobile via the IG App … I do it often, not for Renko but generally.
